1.61 London feature The Heritage Mattress
1.61 London was established by Alexander and Michael Christou. The brothers both come from a background in property. One as a Luxury Interior Designer and the other as a Property Developer in the Mayfair area of London. This pedigree set them in good stead to launch their business.
The name 1.61 comes from the term; 'The Golden Ratio'. What is the Golden Ratio? Well it's mathematics and it's difficult to explain but you can read about it here.
It's believed that the Golden Ratio has been in use for at least 4,000 years in human art and design, but it may be even longer than that – some people argue that the Ancient Egyptians used the principle to build the pyramids.
In more contemporary times, the Golden Ratio can be observed in music, art and design all around you. Alexander and Michael apply it to their business as 'creating aesthetic perfection'.
1.61 London focus on Interior Design, Property Sourcing and Property Development. It was on a recent Mayfair property that they chose to collaborate with Glencraft Luxury Mattress.
